I write mysteries, historical romance, short stories, articles for newspapers, magazines and e-zines, as well as business and marketing plans and manuals.

I am a life-long writer having taken 25 years to finish my first novel - one that may never be published.
During that time I married, raised two sons, and had a wide variety of jobs including landscape designer, loan officer, holiday décor installer, floral designer, event planner, executive secretary, and medical transcriptionist.
Since I've been writing seriously, I've joined RWA (Romance Writers of America), Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers (I'm also a board member), and Sisters In Crime.

I've received writing awards for short stories as well as several NAMPA Awards (North American Mature Publishers Association) for articles and features.
​
I present at writer's workshops and conferences.
